Terms and ConditionsBy accessing this website you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to them, you may not use this website and should leave it immediately. Conditions of UseOnline Shopping:We have taken great care in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible. However, the images you see will depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. Before you place an order you should read the following. These pages form part of these terms and conditions and contain important information about your order. By submitting an order to us through our website, you represent and warrant that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct, and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. If the Billing details for your order are the same as your Delivery address details, by placing an order on the website you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Delivery address details. Otherwise, by placing an order, you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing details. Acceptance of your Order:Shortly after you have placed an order with us by pressing the ‘Add to Basket’ an email will be sent to you acknowledging the exact details of your order. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Special Occasions. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Special Occasions will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions set out below. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following: The product you ordered being out of stock - see Product Availability; Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment; The identification of a pricing or product description error; Failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions. Internet orders will be confirmed by email. Should you not receive confirmation within 10 business days, please contact our order line on 01202 740072. Call Centre and Orderline:Our operators will be delighted to help you with ordering details over the telephone, although due to our high level of security the order itself must be placed using our website payment systems or in person in our store. They will be able to advise you on the range of merchandise we offer on our website and help you with queries about payment. Our Call Centre and Orderline are open from 10am to 5.30pm (GMT / BST) Monday to Friday. Please call 01202 740072. Order Cancellation:If you wish to cancel your order please contact Special Occasions Customer Services by: calling 01202 740072 between 10am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday returning your acknowledgement email to us stating your intention to cancel the order. It may not always be possible to stop an order from being dispatched, as we endeavor to process orders immediately. If your order has already been dispatched please return the order. Please note that your right to return goods does not apply to certain products. Further details are set out in our Returns Policy. Where your order is returned to us within 8 working days of your delivery, or you notify us in writing or by email of your wish to cancel your order within this period, the cost of your order and your original postage and packing charge will be reimbursed in full. Please note that cancellations or alterations to orders marked as Wedding non-returnable goods must be made within 24 hours of ordering. Payment Methods: We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Solo, a cheque / banker's draft made out to: Special Occasions (allow 5-10 working days for clearance and add this to the normal delivery times). Please do not be tempted to send cash via the postal system. It is understood that Special Occasions will not be held responsible for any losses that may occur in connection with your attempting to use this method of payment. Pricing Policy:Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time. VAT free prices, are quoted for deliveries outside the EU, where applicable. Special Occasions endeavors to ensure that all merchandise offered on the website is available at the same price in the Poole store. However, from time to time (particularly during Special Occasions Sale and promotional periods) we may offer additional discounts for purchases online from www.specialoccasionsweddings.co.uk that do not apply in the Poole store. Additionally, items offered as sets on this site may not be offered as part of a set within the store and individual prices may apply. Our Poole store may also run additional discount promotions that are not available on the website due to stock structure. Product Availability / Information:We feature products on our website that have been carefully selected for Online Shopping. Once an item is sold out it will be taken off the website at the earliest opportunity and may not be available again. All items are subject to availability. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to substitute an item, the item will be of equal or greater value than that which it replaces. Substitutions will only be made with your prior consent. Delivery Information:We endeavor to dispatch most goods within 2-5 working days of receipt of a cleared payment; however photographs may take 1-3 weeks. All orders will be delivered free of charge to a single UK address (includes: Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Scottish Isles). Please note that individual items may be dispatched separately. Returns Policy:We hope that you will be totally satisfied with any purchase made with Special Occasions. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange or refund your goods within 7 days of receipt. This is with the exception of items that have had the swing tags removed. If the item / goods have had the swing tag removed then we will not accept the return of the item / goods. In the case of shoes, we will not accept returns if there is any sign of wear on the soles / heels of the shoes. This is due to the nature of wedding accessories and occassionwear being required for a single event. If the swing tag has been removed or there are signs that shoes have been worn for any length of time other than just being tried on for fitting purposes, it will be assumed that the item / goods has / have been worn to the event. The goods must be returned to us in the same condition as supplied to you. Where your order is returned to us within 7working days of your delivery, or you notify us in writing or by email of your wish to cancel your order within this period, your original postage and packing charge (but not your return postage costs) will also be reimbursed in full. Except in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods, where your statutory rights are unaffected, the following items may not be returned: personalised good / goods made to a customer's specifications, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, pierced earrings, lingerie/ nightwear and hosiery. Returns Instructions By Post:Please package the merchandise to prevent damage, enclosing a note specifying the reason that you are returning the goods along with you name, address and telephone number and send the merchandise using registered post or other secure and insured method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return. Please make sure that you ask for the goods to be insured up to the level of the original inclusive price as Special Occasions will not be held responsible for any goods that are lost by your chosen postal service. Please note that the return costs are not pre-paid. Postage or other return costs will be the customer’s responsibility and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. You must return the goods, together with their packaging, in the same condition as supplied to you. Personal Information / Privacy Policy:Any correspondence which you may have with us via our E-mail / form facility is considered as private information and is not knowingly passed on to any third parties. It is understood that this is with the exception of information being used for ordering / enquiries relating to availability of an item on your behalf where we might pass it on to one of our suppliers (e.g. availability of a garment where your measurements are needed to ensure a good fit). We are careful to keep any such information to a minimum. No information is knowingly passed to any third party for any other purpose than has already been specified without your approval (either verbal or written).
